There is hope for freedom from addiction. His Mansion offers an affordable, Christ-centered recovery program where men and women find lasting change. The average program length is one year.

Program Costs
His Mansion is donor funded and does not generate revenue through its programs. A year's stay in the recovery program typically costs less than $1,000.
Each Resident is required to have a Sponsor who provides $50 per month for personal expenses. For more information about program costs, call (603) 464-5555.

The year, in two stages
The program runs for one year, in two stages of six months each.
Stage 1: Restoration
Freedom from bondage, brokenness, and self-destruction
Months 1 to 6
- Identify roots of addiction

Freedom for purpose, meaning, and new life

What a Resident's year holds

Formational Counseling
Residents receive weekly one-on-one counseling that builds self-awareness and emotional resilience, works through relationships, and builds personal agency through goal setting.

Recovery-Focused Education
Residents engage with recovery curriculum that teaches them to recognize addictive triggers, challenge destructive thought patterns, and develop healthy coping skills.

Meaningful Work
Residents maintain the campus, steward their living spaces, and contribute to the community through practical responsibilities.

Community Life
Residents live in a communal environment of daily prayer, corporate worship, family-style meals, personal fitness, and meaningful relationships.

His Mansion's campus is located on our own property in Deering, New Hampshire. Our facility is a well-equipped addiction recovery setting that offers shelter from destructive environments and a safe place for restoration.
Staff, families, Residents, and Servant Leaders all share the campus as a living space. We believe in recovery and healing in the context of community.

What age do you accept into the Resident Recovery Program?
The Resident Recovery Program is for men and women ages 18 to 40 and up. Applicants over 40 are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and we recommend you still apply. The application process is used to determine if His Mansion is the right environment for you.
Do you have to go through detox before entering the program?
His Mansion is not a medical facility and does not perform medical detox. In most cases, detox is not required, although we recommend detox from substance dependency prior to arrival at His Mansion. In some cases, like alcoholism, detox may be required. Your specific needs will be addressed in the interview and onboarding process.
Do you accept people with mental health issues?
Yes, many of the Residents in the program have mental health conditions. However, His Mansion is not a medical or clinical facility. The application process will help us to gain a better understanding of your mental health history and determine if His Mansion is the right environment for you.
Can my family visit?
Yes. Family visits take place on weekends during April and October. Families are also encouraged to visit for graduation. His Mansion offers guest housing for your stay while visiting your family member.
Do I have to be a Christian to come?
No, you do not have to be a Christian to join the recovery program. The program is Christ-centered and we do ask that you be open to a Christian approach.

His Mansion is a work based, live-in program that teaches how to overcome addictions by fully relying on God. I commited myself to growth and change and I have been clean and sober since becoming a resident on November 20, 2023. During the year, I learned to cast all my worries upon the Lord and rely on Him to give me strength. I faced the hurts of my past, rededicated my life to Christ, and was baptized in June of 2024. Before graduating in October of 2024, I learned patience and received joy that no one can take from me. The staff and servant leaders truly care for each of the residents and pour out their love in all that they do. Their time and energy is truly dedicated to seeing broken lives be restored through the hope of Jesus Christ!
